Mini-symposium, 9-10 October 2010
The DDFA, the UK and Ireland facilitator's organisation, have arranged a mini-symposium (one and a half days), which will include presentations, workshops, a display of resources and a great opportunity to get together for a good old natter. This will take place while Ron and Alice are here and Ron has generously offered a couple of Q&A sessions. One will be a general Q&A and the other session will focus on the Autism approach.
Registration will be on Friday evening or Saturday 9:00-9:30. There are no formal sessions scheduled for Friday evening but plenty of people will be staying in the hotel that evening. We will have a peer-group session on Saturday evening for anyone wishing to participate. The symposium will finish after lunch on Sunday
The venue is The Hilton Garden Inn, Luton, Bedfordshire – just ten minutes taxi ride from Luton railway station and equally close to Luton Airport: a hub for many cheap flights.

The cost for the mini-symposium will be £65 for DDFA members and £90.00 for non-members. This will include lunch and refreshments on both days and a non-returnable deposit of £40.00, in the event of cancellation.
Accommodation will be available at the Hilton Garden Inn at a special rate of £50.00/night for a single and £60.00/night for a double: bed and breakfast. The room rates are also available for Friday and Sunday nights. This will be for your own account and must be booked and paid for separately.
The Hilton has provided us with a dedicated webpage to access their booking system.
There are cheaper options in the area, but they would be a short taxi-ride away.
An a la carte menu is available for your evening meal; or there will be local shops to purchase food or take-away meals (a microwave is available in the hotel and each room has a fridge)should you want to keep the budget down.
Your booking will be confirmed once payment is received. Please fill in the sign-up form and return it to
