A Davis Programme
There are four stages to a programme:
1. The Assessment
2. The Main Programme
3. The Follow-up Period
4. The Review
First a facilitator will hold an informal meeting with you. This usually takes a couple of hours.
The basic programme will be delivered over 30 hours of one-to-one work with your facilitator. This may be over 5 consecutive days, or possibly over more, but shorter days. The programme is ideally completed without too much of a break.
There are three correction programmes to help with reading, maths or attention difficulties. These all follow a similar format.
Towards the end of your programme your facilitator will train someone of your choosing to be your support person as you complete the follow-up work required to become a fully Corrected Dyslexic.
There are 219 trigger words in the English Language. Until each of these words has an accurate mental image in your imagination, you will not be a Corrected Dyslexic.
When you have completed your Programme you will take home all the equipment you need to continue using clay to master the trigger words.
As you continue to do your follow-up work using your tools will become almost as automatic as breathing.
Factored into the price of the programme is another 6 hours which you can use as and when you want to.
Your facilitator will always be available to you at the end of the phone or by email and will always be pleased to hear about how you are getting on. If you care to send photos of words you have clayed or information and/or pictures of personal achievements or celebrations of your talents you may find them on this website (only with your permission, of course).
