I knew I found my vocation when I read the book: ‘The Gift of Dyslexia’.
Receiving my own programme had been life changing and I was delighted to start my Facilitator training so I could really help someone who has dyslexia.
Every time I work with a child, a student or an adult it is a joy to see how the Davis technique reaches to the heart of their dyslexia. It is wonderful to witness the changes the tools make, in bridging the gap between the creative thinking and the lateral thinking process.
Working in Special Education Needs Support in schools, I would love to see the Davis techniques implemented in schools, so that children with all learning styles will receive a teaching style that works well for them. This will benefit not only dyslexics but also children with dyspraxia, ADHD and those who have numeracy and handwriting difficulties.
I know what it is like to be dyslexic and it is my passion to help anyone who has dyslexia to gain the ability and confidence to reach their true potential.
I work from home in west London which is walking distance from tube station: Turnham Green and near the London Overground station: South Acton.
