I have a CERT FE teaching certificate with a specialism in English.

I am an ESOL lecturer working at a local FE college. I have been teaching English for seven years. I became interested in dyslexia when two of my boys were assessed as dyslexics.
Ron Davis' book the 'Gift of Dyslexia' helped me to understand the difficulties faced by children & adults with specific learning issues.

I understand from a parent's point of view of how frustrating it can be for families. I feel the Davis programme can help as it's holistic with differential personalised learning of which I have experience. It also raises self-esteem and confidence as it is a one to one programme therefore benefitting the client by receiving the facilitator's attention.

I can incorporate my teaching and learning experience within the programme to meet individual needs. I also have experience in teaching literacy and numeracy.
