Give your child the best start with the Davis Reading Programme for Young Learners.

Here’s why.

Who is a Davis Young Learner’s Programme for?

A Davis Young Learner’s Programme is designed for children between the ages of 5 and 7/8. These children may not have developed any problems connected to dyslexia.  Therefore, unlike with a Davis Dyslexia Correction Programme, this does not usually need to be a remedial programme. It can simply set your child up with tools and skills for lifelong learning.  (Though changes in education may mean they are already dealing with great confusion by the age of 7.)

What will happen during a Davis Young Learner’s Programme?

During the Davis Young Learner’s Programme a trained and licensed Davis facilitator will work directly with your child to deliver a personalised learning programme. Your child will learn tools for focus, relaxation and energy levels. They will then master letters and alphabets, words and punctuation. They will put this mastery into practice with reading exercises. This will also provide those conceptual skills needed for reading fluency and comprehension.

How will I, the parent, be involved in a Davis Young Learner’s Programme?

You, the parent, or another support person will need to be present for at least 50% of the time. Your facilitator will give you practical training and guidance. This will help you develop the skill and confidence to continue to work with your child in the future.
