  • My name is Graham Wright and I am a lecturer in science at a further education college.

There was a time before I knew anything about Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, ADD and AD(H)D, where I thought they were a condition that children suffered from and grew out of after time. Needing to find something to do that would fulfil my continuous professional development needs I took on CPD accredited courses but my lack of faith in the format brought that to an unexpected end. I was then asked if I would like to try something different and was given the book ‘The Gift of Dyslexia’ to read. Being an ex-military man, I like things that work and after reading Ron Davis’ book my faith was restored and I took on the training.

My biggest moment of wonder was at the beginning of my field assignments when I asked my first volunteer the three questions, “Do you think you have a problem?” “Do you want help with that problem?” and “Would you like me to help you?” I was hearing about dyslexia first-hand and I was confident that I could help.

As I branch out, the training I have had has prepared me to work with a wider spectrum of clients outside of my working environment and I can provide the Davis programme to adults and children who have difficulties with reading, writing, auditory processing, working memory, poor coordination, attention deficits and dealing with numbers.

I conduct the programmes I deliver in work, at home and online, but the programme can be delivered at the client’s home, or workplace if you are not too far from me and that is what you prefer.

Contact me by email at: or ring me on 07749808393 to arrange a suitable time for you to begin your Davis programme.
