The Gift of Dyslexia Workshop 15 – 18 March 2020
As a Davis Facilitator trainee you will discover the Davis Methods. You will also learn how this amazing process effectively puts Dyslexic individuals in control of their own gift. Once in control they can use that gift to correct the baggage that can come with it. If you want to train to become a Davis Facilitator, The Gift of Dyslexia Workshop is your starting point. You can learn how to deliver an intervention that does not use phonics. Therefore those individuals frequently described in research as “non-responders”find this intervention uniquely successful.
The Gift of Dyslexia Workshop can also help parents and professionals working with SpLD to understand more about the wonderful dyslexic thinkers they are involved with. The workshop has value even if you do not wish to become a Davis Facilitator.
Key Davis Learning Foundation workshops, including this one, are now accredited by the CPD Standards Office. This ensures that the workshops meet the highest professional standards and participants can be confident that they will receive high quality and well-structured training.
Workshop presenter Richard Whitehead
will explain the fundamental theory and practice underpinning the Davis Dyslexia Correction Programme and introduce you to the genius, Ron Davis, who designed it.
